What you need to make a strong body paragraph
There will probably be a lot of different essays that you will have to write for school. Successful essays have a few important parts. They start with an introduction to introduce the topic and draw the reader in. Then they have various body paragraphs. These paragraphs explain the reasons why you believe the thesis statement. They are the meat of the paper. The last paragraph is the conclusion. It will restate the thesis and wrap your paper up.
The body paragraphs are the bulk of the paper and offer your reader evidence on why you believe your thesis statement which is the main point that you are trying to make. In order to write successful body paragraphs, you want to incorporate a few features into them.

You should incorporate a transition into your body paragraph that links the previous idea to the new idea or introduces the new idea. It is a way to let your reader know where you are going with your paper. You can have a transition at the beginning or the end of the paragraph.
Your topic sentence lets the reader know what the paragraph is going to be about. It introduces the paragraph. It makes a statement about the topic that you will provide evidence for with supporting facts.
To prove your point, you will offer two supporting facts. Each of these facts should explain your topic sentence. For a larger paper, you can offer more than just two supporting facts but you should never use less. You want to also make sure that there are the same number of supporting facts for each of the body paragraphs.
Then provide evidence to support your topic sentence. For each reason, be sure to include the reason why the proof relates or proves the statement that you made. You would make the claim and then explain why it supports the claim.
The body paragraphs are the bulk of your paper. They should be formatted correctly and should also contain each of these features. By including information regarding the reasons behind your beliefs, you are providing the audience with solid information that they can use to understand the claims. Make sure that each of these paragraphs prove the thesis. The main idea is to explain in your own words why the thesis is true.
